Bot General Information
Overview
The General Information tab is where you define the basic identity and appearance of your bot. This includes naming your bot, setting a business name, choosing an avatar, and customizing the chat theme color. You can also set the language the bot will reply in and control whether the watermark is shown on the chat widget.
Steps to Use
Set Bot Name
Enter a clear and memorable name for your bot in the Name field. This name will be visible to users interacting with the bot.
Add Business Name (Optional)
You may optionally provide a business or brand name associated with the bot.
Choose Avatar
Select an avatar image that represents your bot. This image appears next to the bot’s messages in chat and helps users recognize the bot’s identity.
Pick Theme Color
Customize the chat widget’s theme color by selecting a color or entering a hex code.
The interface provides a contrast ratio indicator to ensure the text remains readable against the selected background color.
Select Reply Language Choose the language the bot will use to respond to users.
You can also click the x button next to the selected language to clear it, which sets the bot to auto-detect the user's language automatically.
Toggle Watermark Display Enable or disable the watermark that appears on the chat widget.
Example / Use Case
A bakery creates a bot named “Bánh mì Floppicanna” and selects a matching avatar. They pick a blue theme color (#364DE7) for their chat widget and set the reply language to Vietnamese. Later, they clear the language setting using the x button to allow automatic language detection. They decide to show the watermark on their widget.
Notes
The bot name is limited to 50 characters.
Theme colors should have sufficient contrast to ensure text readability, indicated by the contrast ratio.
The reply language setting affects automated responses generated by the bot. Clearing the language sets it to auto-detect mode.
