Steps to Use

Step 1: In the Bots section, go to the Platform Integration tab. Then click the Facebook button.

Step 2: Inside, click the + Add page button.

Step 3: Log in to your Facebook account.

Step 4: Give CX Genie permission to access the page where you want to add the bot and click the Save button.

Step 5: Select the bot you want to use for the Facebook page and click Submit.

If you're not sure which bot to add, click I’ll do it later, then click + Select Bot to choose your bot. After that, click Save changes to connect the bot to your page.

Step 6: Go to your Facebook page and give your chatbot a try!

Quick Tips

• Each Facebook page can only be connected to one bot at a time.

Troubleshooting

• Problem: Cannot add the bot to a Facebook page.

  Solution: Make sure the page is not already connected to another bot. Remove it from the other bot first.

• Problem: Trying to connect the bot to a personal Facebook account.

  Solution: CX Genie only works with Facebook Pages, not personal accounts. Make sure you are connecting to a Page.
